CVS Trip – July 5

cvs_july5_09

Had fun at CVS today.  Here is a brief breakdown of my purchases.  Sorry, the breakdown is a bit lame….I threw my receipts away because I wasn’t going to post this, but the deals were so good I have to tell you about them. Promise next time I’ll be more organized like Totally Angel is.

Transcation 1: Bought tape x3 rolls, pencils x3 packs, pencil sharpeners x3, panty liners x1 pack.  Paid $12(ish) dollars out of pocket. Got back$12 (ish) in ECB bucks.

Transcation 2: Bought 3 boxes of Post Cereral for $10 on sale.  Used 2 of my $2 coupons that I printed from the Post website.  Paid the remaining $6 (ish) dollars owed with $2 ECB bucks I had from last week and $4 with the ECB bucks I had just received.  Got back $5 in ECB bucks.

Transcation 3: Febreeze Air Effects and Febreeze Fabric Freshener and Febreeze Noticeables x2 (used 2 of the $4 coupons and one BOGO from today’s paper).  Paid $11(ish) with ECB bucks I had just received and paid remaining few cents owed cash out of pocket. Got $10 in ECB bucks.

Transcation 4: Bought Head & Shoulders Shampoo x2 (used BOGO coupon from today’s paper), Colgate Total Toothpaste (used 75¢ coupon), Dawn Dish Washing Liquid (used 2 of the 25¢ coupons from today’s paper).  Paid $9 (ish) out of pocket (note-tried to use the $10 ECB bucks I had just gotten but there was a $2 shortage…note to self…don’t do this next time).  Paid Got back $7 in ECB bucks.

BOTTOM LINE: Spent $21 out of pocket and had $17 in ECB bucks in the end…so technically got all this stuff for about $ 4
