Sunday morning thoughts

Howdy folks! It’s Sunday morning and I am slowing waking up. I had a bit of a lie in this morning and didn’t get out of bed until 10:30. Am on my first cup of coffee, so still a bit groggy. I just went through and deleted over 1000 spam comments on my website….damn spammers. I set up my comments slightly different, so be aware. I set it up to where you have to have a previously approved comment to get through automatically. Hopefully this will help with all the spam.

Yesterday was a fun day. I slept in till about 10:30 yesterday morning as well. I don’t normally slept in like that. But, I was in North Carolina all last week. I flew in late Friday night and did not get to bed until 1:00am. Oh, speaking of North Carolina I have to mention something. President Bush stayed in the same hotel as me! It was Wednesday night and it was so cool! I was all like, please Mister Marine, let me see the President! Well, actually I wasn’t like that. I didn’t want to cause too much attention to myself and get arrested trying to get a glimpse. It was really cool though, the marines were everywhere in the hotel!

Anyway, back to yesterday. Since I did not wake up until lunch, we decided to go to Steelhead for our first meal of the day. I ate the popcorn shrimp sandwich with a side salad (Eban did the same). Afterwards, we played pool for a couple of hours in the really nice billiards room. Pat – I checked, they still do not have a Raging Rhino in large. During pool, I called Angel and Pat to brag about what we were doing but they were doing something even better….going to a gala! Hope you two had fun. After pool, Eban and I went to Mollie Stones and got a few groceries. We went home and had a nice quite evening with martinis, roast chicken and a movie.

Oh, I just wanted to give Angel and Pat a quick shout out. I wanted to say THANKS for the Boy Scouts popcorn and Community coffee. That was a very unexpected surprise and we appreciate the thoughtfulness. I just ran out of Foldgers, so we the coffee I am drinking is Community. This is the first time I drink Community in like 18 years! I love it! I also love the fabulous popcorn. You are right Angel and Pat, this popcorn is the best!
