Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be in Louisiana from January 5th – 9th! I am going to make Trinitie’s birthday party…yeah! I get to see my family…yeah! I get to eat Mama’s home cooking…yeah! I get to buy some Blue Runner cream style beans and bring back to California…yeah! I get to have a long over due martini with Angel…yeah! But most of all, I get to see my family…yeah!!!

I bought my plane ticket and I am arriving in New Orleans at 6:05pm January 5th and I am leaving at 7:40am on January 9th. I know that I won’t get to see all my family. I guess the Texan side of the family will have to deal with me when I go visit later in the year. But I am so happy that I will finally get to see my family in Louisiana….it’s been 3 years!

Can someone pick me up at the New Orleans airport? Angel is flying in a few hours before me on Friday and hopefully whoever picks Angel up can pick me up. Angel – if you don’t want to wait for me, I can maybe rent a car or something. Let’s talk soon to organize something.

I love my family and can’t wait to see you all!

It’s Saturday morning and I am still in my jammys at 11:30am! Man I love Saturdays! Eban is in the kitchen right now cooking up a fantastic breakfast. I bought a loaf of freshly made sliced sourdough bread and we (well Eban really) will make some toast out of it. We will also have over medium eggs and sausage. Yummy….breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. I forgot how much I liked sourdough bread. It is very prolific in San Francisco, I guess you could say sourdough bread is the main bread here. I love it…a good sour dough bread is tangy, soft but hard, never crumbles or falls apart and is a bit chewy.

We may head over to Steelhead Brewery for some afternoon pool in a bit. They have a beautiful billards room and since we are in California, the entire place in non-s!!!!! (LOVE that)!!!! Can’t help but think of Angel, Pat, Gordon and Scott when I think of afternoon pool. Here’s to you guys! Think the last time I played pool was at Steelhead several years ago.

Am trying not to think about it too much, but next week is going to be super busy for me. I need to pull of something that normally takes a month to do and do it in only a week. I will have my own freelancer to help me but I am still a little concerned. Anyway, that is next weeks issue, right now I am concerned about breakfast and pool.
