Today we are moving out of the Marriott and moving into our new apartment! We bought a new mattress set and sofa but they will not be delivered until November 7 so we will be buying an air mattress today.
Just wanted to tell everyone hello. I will probably not have internet access for a while at my new apartment, so just wanted to do a quick post to let everyone know that you may not hear from me for a few days or so.
By the way, I got a new cell phone yesterday and will be emailing the number to people so that you can be in touch. Hope you all are doing fine out there….

I am writing this from my hotel room in London. Tomorrow morning we are leaving the hotel at 4:15am for a 6:35am flight to Amsterdam, then we will fly from Amsterdam to San Francisco. Am feeling really weird right now.
Today we went into Hounslow town centre which will forever be the last town centre we visit here in England. Am finding this a little harder to go through than I originally thought. This country has become my home over the last 2 years 7 months. Although I am excited to go back to America, I will miss England.
I have had very stressful times and very happy times here. I will always have a special place in my heart for England…..but the time has come for me to go back to my homeland which I do miss so.
Am not looking forward to the 14 hour journey, but in the end I will be home again on good ole American ground.

Tonight will be our last night sleeping in our flat here in England. Friday was my last day of work. It was a good day….I was flooded with gifts and lots of warm wishes. Last week was the weeks of ‘lasts’. Every time I did something I was thinking to myself that this will be the last time I do this.
It’s weird, last Monday I thought my week would go by really slow but it turned out to be the fastest week ever. Wednesday me and the marketing team went out for a pub lunch as my ‘leaving do’. It was nice and the boss picked up the entire tab.
Friday afternoon everyone gathered in the mock shop to bid me farewell. It was really nice to see most everyone in one room at one time. I had no idea they had gathered in the mock shop and when I walked in (thinking I was going into a normal meeting with my boss) I was so shocked to see so many people. I was given a huge gorgeous floral bouquet, a bottle of Champagne, a nice box of chocolates, some cards and an address book with contact numbers of my colleagues.
The most memorable moment though came when my two closest colleagues gave me a really nice card and postcard with some lovely notes in them. Also, they gave me a beautiful necklace that I will always cherish. I can’t wait to wear it in the San Francisco office.
Well, guess I should be going. We need to pack today and clean the flat. We also need to go into town and run a few errands. Now, where’s my coffee?

Hello world! It is Monday night and next week at this time it will be the last night in my English flat. My time here is drawing to an end. This Friday is my last day of work in the office…..next Monday is my last night sleeping in my English flat….next Tuesday and Wednesday we will spend our final days living it up in central London……next Thursday we are leaving Heathrow airport at 6:30 am and flying into Amsterdam and then a few hours later we are on a non-stop flight to San Francisco California!
Everything is happening so quickly which is why I haven’t posted so much lately. Literally, in the past few weeks, if I wasn’t working in the office I was working at home on the details of the move. This has been trying for both Eban and I. We are planning the move in less than half the time we had when we moved here to England.
This morning the movers came and packed all of our belongings we are taking to California. I am actually typing this standing up as our desk has been packed away and will soon be over the ocean. This evening I had dinner at my favorite Thai resturant (Gordon you know the one) with a dear friend here and told her goodbye. She is lovely and she gave me a beautiful necklace that I will always love and she treated me to dinner………thanks my dear friend Lucy!
So much is happening I can hardly keep up. Hope everyone is doing alright out there?

Am freaking out! It is a really freaky feeling knowing that I have to show up to work in downtown San Francisco in exactly 30 days but I am still living here as normal in England! None of my stuff is packed up yet, life here is still fairly typical at the moment. What the hell?
I have a 4 1/2 day weekend this week! Yippie! After Saturday, I do not have to show up to work until Thursday! Then the following week is my last week here in the UK office…..weird. California here I come!
Hope you all are doing ok. Angel – just wanted to say that our you know what should be arriving tomorrow (Saturday the latest). They may arrive in two separate shipments…please just check that there is one for me and one for Eban and send right away please please.
