Wow…seems like forever since I posted something. I have been so preoccupied with hurricane Katrina and the impact it is having on my family, the people of southern USA and the country.
First, just want to say that I am so happy that my immediate family has survived the hurricane. Not sure about my extended family but am hoping for the best and that they are alright. Have so many things on my mind right now and am having trouble focusing. Am thinking of what my mom will do as she worked in New Orleans and her place of business will probably not reopen for months. Am thinking of my family in Houma and hope that they have fresh water and food. Also hope that they are finding some way to stay cool (it is so hot there as usual). I could go on, but I need to end this post soon as I do not have a lot of time….I need to pack.
Wish I could say that I was going on a holiday but I’m not. I need to pack because I am going on a business trip to Birmingham. The Body Shop is having their annual Christmas conference. Many people from the office attend as well as all the store managers. It’s a huge conference that lasts 2 whole days in various hotel conference rooms. I will be there 2 1/2 days early to help with all the preparations we need to do. I will be showing off all the fabulous table displays I created.
Anyway, just want to say to everyone that I will not post again till Tuesday the earliest as I am not coming back till Monday night. I will be away from my adorable husband for 4 nights and 5 days! You better behave Eban (lol)!! So until next Tuesday, I bid you all farewell for now. Don’t have too much fun on my shout out box without me!!

I don’t have anything really clever to say right now so I thought I would write about one of the things on my mind. As some of you may know, my favorite TV show is Charmed. I have been watching it since it begun 7 years ago and I love it. It’s about 3 sisters living out there lives in a victorian house in San Francisco. I love the show because it explores the relationships between sisters. I have sometimes wondered if my sisters and I had not gotten married (no regrets honey) that maybe we would be living together somewhere in a similar nice house.
Recently I read that the latest and possibly last season had begun shooting. Evidently the new season will begin sometime in the fall in the US. Usually the UK gets Charmed fairly quickly, so hopefully I will start to see the new season around October (fingers crossed). Can’t wait to see some new episodes of Charmed!
Think it’s going to be a Charmed weekend for me. We are watching our money this weekend so thus staying home. I have 5 – 6 episodes recorded that I need to watch and there’s no time like the present (well almost present). Plus I promised Eban to delete a couple of them as it’s clogging up our recording box thingy.
I may not have a new episode to watch yet, but at least I can get my “fix” with a few reruns this weekend! Anyway, I don’t watch as much TV as I used to. Currently I only watch about 3 or 4 shows and maybe a movie a week along with my nightly soap Eastenders.

Listen to me….really what I mean here is….listen to me talk (literally). I was a guest this morning on Eban’s Easy Sunday podcast show. In case you don’t know about the show, it’s a fantastic little show that my husband does. He has set up his show a bit like a radio show, but an interesting one. He plays music that you don’t hear on the radio, so it’s a refreshing way to start the day. He also talks a little about news and just basically anything that may be on his mind. Everyday the show is a little different and always entertaining.
The shows are fun to listen to while surfing the net, washing dishes, or in my usual case..on my walks to and from work (I download them to my MP3 player). Anyway, please check out his show today.
