Hello there! It’s Saturday morning…and you know what time that is….it’s rambling time! Well, at least this Saturday morning it is. It’s 7:30 am and Eban is still sleeping…so I have a little time all to myself. Am enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to an ambient music station streaming from shoutcast. Am feeling pretty relaxed right now. I have a 3 day weekend ahead of me and I think I am just going to “go with the flow” this weekend. Am not going to try to pencil in a million things to do….just a few definite things and that’s it.

Hmmm…what am I going to definitely do? Here we go:
* Relax…..just like the above cute little kitty….no worries….just relaxing and chilling out.
* Mama needs a new pair of shoes. My cute black ribbon flats I bought from PayLess in California are just now at the point where they are starting to look shabby. Man those were a great find. I paid only $5 for them and I have worn them for a little over 2 years. Hopefully can find a cute pair of black flats today….wish me luck. Usually I hate shoes from Pay Less, but these were awesome.
* Spend some time in my chill out room. I need to read and take notes on a couple of chapters in the book I am reading. But before I do that, I need to re-organize my vanity. It’s quite cluttered right now as I just got a crap load of free make-up that I didn’t really need. I mean it, the first girl to come and visit me is going to get most of it. I also want to “just be” for a little while in my chill out room and just simply listen to some relaxing music or maybe some hard rock to mentally escape for a bit.
* I want to look into the possibility of creating a couple of different looks for my site. EBAN started a new site yesterday and thus left Blogger. Now he is using WordPress like ANGEL and I. So, go to HIS SITE as soon as you finish reading this to check it out!! He set up his site so that you can change the look with a click of a button. I have bee thinking of doing this to my site as it is so cool. Depending on what type of mood you are in, you can pick and choose a look. Currently I am thinking that I would love to have a castle theme that looks kind of like a children’s story book. Also, I would love to have a fun gothic type theme…something that looks a bit like cartoonish Halloween decorations. Also, I’d like a martini or margarita theme one as well. Maybe that one could be like a disco party theme.
Think that is it for the things that I will definitely do this weekend. Like I said, I am going with the flow this weekend….no major plans…..life is GOOD.

Happy Birthday!!! It’s all about you today so I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how special you are. When I was growing up I remember you lovingly playing jokes on me quite often. Some of the memories are scary… many are funny…but I look back on all of them with a smile on my face. When I was a teenager you gave me a fabulous stereo and helped to get my braces. In my adult life, you have given me really keen advice and I am ever so grateful for your insight.
Over the years, you have been an inspiration to me. You have a vivid imagination, a creative spirit, a superb sense of humor, a wonderful smile, a kind heart, an usually high intelligence and a mouth that speaks of the most fascinating and unbelievable things.
All in all, I am supremely proud to be your baby sis!
Now, enough with the sentimental stuff…..on to the funny stuff! Please click on the below link to view your special gift from Eban and I on your special day!
Love ya!

I have disposable clothes and there’s nothing I can do about it….What are disposable clothes you say? It’s clothes that are inexpensive and thus when they get really worn looking (stained, holes, etc) you can throw them away without feeling guilty because you didn’t pay that much for them in the first place.
For the past 16 months since I have moved to England I have been on a search. A search for quality clothes at a moderate price. You know, that nice shirt that can withstand 100 washings and still look great. I have bought quite a few shirts since I have been here and most only last 8 – 10 washings before they start to look like crap. The average shirt has cost me

Oh my goodness, I am so hot right now. There is no breeze and it’s like 82 degrees. I know I really have no right to complain because of all the poor folks experiencing Denver’s heat wave. But, poo poo hell to all of you, it’s my website and I can write what I want. Back to what I was saying, I am so hot right now…..am seriously missing air conditioning. For a large portion of my life I enjoyed AC…ahhhhh….that cool breeze with no humidity whatsoever…what I wouldn’t give for an AC right now. I am a Ganaway, damn it, and us Ganaway’s LOVE our ACs!! It’s hard to believe, but I have not lived with an AC since I was in Texas. Actually, the only places with AC that I have lived were in Louisiana and Texas. I was without AC in Colorado, Germany, California and now in England. What’s up with that?

Growing up with AC, it used to seem preposterous that people manage without AC…..Well, now I have become one of them non-AC people and I will never get used to it. All you people with air conditioners are so lucky!! I am jealous of you right now…about the only thing I can do is go lay out like this kitty and take a nap till it cools off a bit!
STAY COOL YOU GUYS!!

It’s Tuesday morning..I have showered, put on my make-up, straightened my hair, eaten breakfast (thanks honey`) and I now have a cup of coffee with 20 minutes to spare. All I have left to do is brush my teeth then put my work clothes on.
Wanted to make a quick post this morning, but can’t really think of anything to intentionally write about. So I thought I would waste everyone’s time and just ramble about misc things on my mind right now.
Am looking forward to the start of the new season of Mighty Boosh. This show is so cleverly funny and it’s one of the few shows that makes me laugh….so I just can’t wait for it to start. I know a guy that looks just like one of the main characters….it’s weird how everyone seems to have a twin.
Have been eating pretty healthy lately, but it could definitely improve. Am proud of me self and need to do more though. Seriously Faith….start working out!! Baby steps lead to giant steps lead to success!
Want to get a new couch….the chairs we have in our living room were used when we bought them. I get so grossed out when I sit on one….I’ve even put a sheet over it to try not to soak up too many germs while sitting on it. Gross ass chair….every time I sit on it I think I am going to get a disease. I don’t even rest my head on the back because I think I may get scalp condition. Want a clean, smart new sofa!!
I love my husband! I think about him all the time and he is just lovely. There is just to much that I can say about him especially considering I only have 10 minutes left. So let’s just say I am ever so grateful for him….so smart, kind, considerate, loving, sexy, determined and he loves me too!

I have had my website now for about 6 weeks! Thanks to Angel for designing it! I think it looks fabulous! And thanks to Eban for helping me get it started. There are some things on my site that I still need to get started though….like the pic gallery and video clip pages….all in good time though. Baby steps lead to giant steps lead to success! (Guess that is my mantra today) I just love how my website is getting me even more connected with my family….it’s just too much fun! Am starting to think how I got along without a website for so long??? Oh well, at least I have one now, right? Can’t help but think about a certain someone though…don’t worry I won’t mention your name. I’ll just say that the day you get your website up and running, I’ll buy you a martini to celebrate!
I’ve recently pressed the pause button on the self-help book I was reading. However, am pressing the play/resume button as of today!
I’ve been walking to and from work more. Will attempt to walk to and from work everyday, unless the weather is bad…and even then maybe I will brave the rain….it could become my daily adventure!
Oh shit, look at the time…rambling sure does go by fast…I have to go to work….my time is up for now. Hope everyone has a glorious day!! Ummmm…just took last sip of coffee. Will probably enjoy one more at work though.
